Thank you for your support!

August is gone, September is gone, but echoes of Pinkston in the Park and the L.G. Pinkston 2017 Homecoming Parade keep bouncing around among us. It is with great EXCITEMENT that we tell you “Pinkston in the Park” was a BLAST!

LGP Alumni Association of Dallas, Texas (LGPAADT) would like to thank everyone that came out to support Pinkston in the Park. Participating classes from the 60’s 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s represented well. Just everything you could image for a great time in the park happened at Pinkston in the Park.

Thank you for participating in the 2017 LGP Homecoming Parade. The Homecoming Parade was a success in many ways. The participants who entered vehicles in the parade, you made it the success it was. Hats off to all the parade participants who put in the hours, cost and efforts into decorating their vehicles.

We would like to thank the volunteers for helping with registration, putting out signs and providing the participants with help at the intersections. Thank you for assisting with the safety of the participants.

The event could not take place if it were not for the City of Dallas Police Department. Thank you! Sergeant Runnels, Officer Estrella, Officer Rodriquez, Officer Graham, Officer Pargas. Thank you for volunteering and supporting LGPAADT, L.G. Pinkston High School and the West Dallas Community.

A Special Thank you to State Representative Eric Johnson and LGP Principal Simmons for their support and participation.
